“Happiness is like a butterfly which, when pursued, is always beyond our grasp, but, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you.” - Nathaniel Hawthorne

About 6 years ago Denise and I were at the Lighthouse Field State Beach and I didn’t know that it was migrating season for Monarch Butterflies. The place was covered with Monarch butterflies and it was a beautiful thing to come across. I never thought I would miss out on this if I never accidentally saw it. So now I am able to take something off of my bucket list that wasn’t even on it :-)

Did you know that Monarch Butterflies fly over 4,970 miles a year and they are one of the few insects capable of making trans-Atlantic crossings! That’s just amazing!
